Avera is currently seeking Registered Nurses (RN) looking to deliver the best possible nursing care in Avera's patient-focused settings.

Job Summary

• Responsible for developing and enhancing telemedicine applications and working with physicians and their office staff in coordinating telemedicine sessions.
• Nursing assessment skills required to care for the complex patient.
• Computer skills required for documentation and data collection.
• Follows proper procedures and policies regarding telemedicine consultations.
• Communication to care team and family members.
• Strong patient advocate.
• Responsible for addressing patient billing concerns and questions as it pertains to telemedicine charges.

Education and/or Experience

• Prior experience related to telemedicine and videoconferencing equipment is desirable.

Licensure/Certification/Registration

• Current license as a Registered Nurse in South Dakota.

Work Schedule

• Day shifts; 72 hours 2 weeks
  • No weekends/holidays/call time

Pay

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.

• $26.25 - $39.25 per hour
