The city of Logan is alive with special events throughout the year, including live outdoor dramas in summer at the Liz Spurlock Amphitheater in Chief Logan State Park, a Civil War reenactment each September and the Shawnee Trail Encampment in October, featuring daily frontier living, exhibits by artisans and craftsmen and Buckskinners portraying characters from the late 18th century. During the holiday season, Chief Logan State Park becomes a winter wonderland, with a beautiful light display.
